The Maklaud Helios Project Separaid hookah is an image created from metal and a split dream… A symbol of eternal readiness for struggle and the inevitable fusion of natural instincts with the trap of human aggression. “Separation”, embodied in a sculpture split in half, opens up a metaphor of torn lives, divided opinions, torn societies and internal conflicts.
Maklaud products are handmade from the sketch and prototype of the model to polishing and packaging, which explains their exclusivity and quality. The work uses classical as well as alternative materials and technologies.
